Hadith #380
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ عَمْرٌو أَخْبَرَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَمَانِيًا جَمِيعًا وَسَبْعًا
جَمِيعًا قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ يَا أَبَا الشَّعْثَاءِ أَظُنُّهُ أَخَّرَ الظُّهْرَ وَعَجَّلَ الْعَصْرَ وَأَخَّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَعَجَّلَ الْعِشَاءَ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَظُنَّ ذَلِكَ

English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, he said: 'Amr said: Jabir ibn Zayd informed me that he heard Ibn 'Abbas saying: "I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eight together and seven together." He said: I said to him: "O Abu al-Sha'tha', I think he delayed Dhuhr and hastened 'Asr, and delayed Maghrib and hastened 'Isha." He said: "And I think so too."
