English Translation
Sufyan narrated from 'Ammar, from Salim: Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) was asked about a man who killed a believer then repented, believed, and did righteous deeds, then was guided. He said: 'Woe to you! How can he find guidance? I heard your Prophet ﷺ say: "The slain will come on the Day of Resurrection clinging to his killer, saying: O Lord, ask this one why he killed me." By Allah, Allah (عز وجل) revealed it upon your Prophet ﷺ and never abrogated it after revealing it.' He said: 'Woe to you! How can he find guidance?'
