حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ وَهْرَامٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ ع
َلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَادِي عُسْفَانَ حِينَ حَجَّ قَالَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَيُّ وَادٍ هَذَا قَالَ وَادِي عُسْفَانَ قَالَ لَقَدْ مَرَّ بِهِ هُودٌ وَصَالِحٌ عَلَى بَكَرَاتٍ حُمْرٍ خُطُمُهَا اللِّيفُ أُزُرُهُمْ الْعَبَاءُ وَأَرْدِيَتُهُمْ النِّمَارُ يُلَبُّونَ يَحُجُّونَ الْبَيْتَ الْعَتِيقَ

English Translation
Waki' narrated from Zam'ah ibn Salih, from Salamah ibn Wahram, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed through the valley of 'Usfan during his Hajj, he said: 'O Abu Bakr, which valley is this?' He said: 'The valley of 'Usfan.' He said: 'Hud and Salih (عليهما السلام) passed through it on red young she-camels with halters of palm fiber, their garments were coarse cloaks and their mantles were striped wraps, reciting the talbiyah, performing Hajj to the Ancient House.'
