حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ الْعَطَّارُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمْ الْجُمُعَاتِ أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَيُكْتَبُنَّ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ
English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Aban al-'Attar narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, from Zayd, from Abu Sallam, from al-Hakam ibn Mina', from Ibn 'Abbas and Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهم): They both heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Certain people will either stop neglecting the Friday prayers, or Allah will seal their hearts, and then they will be written among the heedless."
