English Translation

'Abidah ibn Humayd narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad narrated to us, from a man, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey and stopped to camp at night. He fell asleep and did not wake up until the sun rose. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered Bilal (رضي الله عنه) to call the adhan, then he prayed two rak'ahs. Ibn 'Abbas said: "I would not exchange the world and everything in it for this" — meaning the concession (that missed prayer due to sleep is forgiven).
