Hadith #205

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ
اللَّهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَا أَعْمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَائِشَةَ لَيْلَةَ الْحَصْبَةِ إِلَّا قَطْعًا لِأَمْرِ أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ فَإِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ إِذَا بَرَأَ الدَّبَرْ وَعَفَا الْأَثَرْ وَدَخَلَ صَفَرْ فَقَدْ حَلَّتْ الْعُمْرَةُ لِمَنْ اعْتَمَرْ

English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: 'Abdullah ibn Tawus narrated to me, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not grant 'A'ishah (رضي الله عنها) 'Umrah on the night of al-Hasbah except to gratify her, because she was upset about her companions performing 'Umrah while she could not due to her menses."
