حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رُؤْيَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّتِي ذَكَرَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ذَكَرَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
قَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ رَأَيْتُ أَنَّهُ وُضِعَ فِي يَدَيَّ سِوَارَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَفَظِعْتُهُمَا فَكَرِهْتُهُمَا وَأُذِنَ لِي فَنَفَخْتُهُمَا فَطَارَا فَأَوَّلْتُهُ كَذَّابَيْنِ يَخْرُجَانِ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ أَحَدُهُمَا الْعَنْسِيُّ الَّذِي قَتَلَهُ فَيْرُوزُ بِالْيَمَنِ وَالْآخَرُ مُسَيْلِمَةُ

English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Salih, who said: 'Ubayd Allah said: I asked 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas about the dream of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he mentioned. Ibn 'Abbas said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me: "I saw as if two golden bracelets were placed on my hands, and they disturbed me. I was inspired to blow on them, so I blew and they flew away. I interpreted them as two liars who would appear" — meaning al-Aswad al-'Ansi (of San'a') and Musaylimah (of Yamamah).
