حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ س
َعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَهْدَى صَعْبُ بْنُ جَثَّامَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رِجْلَ حِمَارٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَرَدَّهُ وَهُوَ يَقْطُرُ دَمًا

English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam who said: I heard Sa'id ibn Jubayr narrating from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: Sa'b ibn Jaththamah gave a wild donkey as a gift to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was at al-Abwa' — or at Waddan — and the Prophet ﷺ returned it. When he saw the expression on Sa'b's face, he said: 'We only returned it because we are in ihram.'
