Abu 'Abd al-Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that i found these hadiths in my father's book in his handwriting. Sa'id ibn Muhammad al-Warraq narrated to us, he said Rishdin ibn Kurayb narrated to us, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate saying: 'O Allah, I ask You for Your mercy by which You guide my heart, gather my affairs, mend my divisions, join my bonds, purify my actions, inspire my guidance, protect me from every evil, and I ask You for the good — all of it — in what I know and what I do not know.'
