حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ

قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَيْتُ رَبِّي تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مِنْ أَبِي أَمْلَى عَلَيَّ فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ

English Translation
Aswad ibn 'Amir narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I saw my Lord تبارك وتعالى.' Qatadah said: I asked 'Ikrimah: 'Did he see Him with his eyes?' He said: 'Yes, he saw Him with his eyes.'
