حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ أَنَا وَسِنَانُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَمَعَنَا بَدَنَتَانِ فَأَزْحَفَتَا عَلَيْنَا فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَقَالَ لِي سِنَانٌِ هَلْ لَكَ فِي ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَأَتَيْنَاهُ فَسَ
أَلَهُ سِنَانٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجُهَنِيُّ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَمْ يَحُجَّ قَالَ حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ

English Translation
Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Hammad, meaning Ibn Zayd, narrated to us, from Abu al-Tayyah, from Musa ibn Salamah, who said: I went out along with Sinan ibn Salamah, and with us were two sacrificial camels. They became exhausted on the road. Sinan said to me: "Shall we go to Ibn 'Abbas?" So we went to him and Sinan asked him, and he mentioned the hadith. He said: Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) said: A man from Juhaynah asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, my father is an old man and has not performed Hajj." He said: "Perform Hajj on behalf of your father."
