حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ النُّكْرِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَا
ءِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَفَّارَةُ الذَّنْبِ النَّدَامَةُ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ لَمْ تُذْنِبُوا لَجَاءَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِقَوْمٍ يُذْنِبُونَ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ

English Translation
Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Malik al-Harrani narrated to us, he said Yahya ibn 'Amr ibn Malik al-Nukri narrated to us, he said I heard my father narrating from Abu al-Jawza', from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The matron (previously married woman) has more right over herself than her guardian, and the virgin's consent is to be sought, and her consent is her silence.'
