قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ عَب

َّاسٍ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ إِذَا لَمْ يُدْرِكْ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ قَالَ رَكْعَتَانِ سُنَّةَ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
He (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that 'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, he said Qatadah informed us, from Musa ibn Salamah who asked Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) about the prayer in al-Batha' (Makkah) if one misses the prayer with the imam. He said: 'Two rak'ahs — the sunnah of Abu al-Qasim ﷺ.'
