English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn Tawus narrated to us, from his father who said: When we were children, we used to say: The one who takes back his gift is like the dog that vomits and then returns to its vomit. We did not know that it was a hadith until Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) narrated to us from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'The one who takes back his gift is like the dog that vomits and then returns to its vomit.'
