حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَابُوسُ بْنُ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ لَا شَكَّ فِيهِ قَالَ إِنَّ الْهَدْيَ الصَّالِحَ وَالسَّمْتَ الصَّالِحَ وَالِاقْتِصَا
دَ جُزْءٌ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ النُّبُوَّةِ حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ وَجَعْفَرٌ يَعْنِي الْأَحْمَرَ عَنْ قَابُوسَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السَّمْتُ الصَّالِحُ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, he said: Qabus ibn Abi Zabyan narrated to us, that his father narrated to him, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما), from the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ. Zuhayr said — I have no doubt he attributed it to the Prophet ﷺ — he said: 'Whichever guardian of an orphan has wealth, let him trade with it and not leave it until charity (zakah) consumes it.'
