English Translation

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, Hilal narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Prophet ﷺ fought an enemy and could not finish with them until the time of the prayer was delayed. So he prayed Dhuhr and 'Asr together, and Maghrib and 'Isha together. — This was the Battle of the Trench (al-Khandaq).
