حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ
عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ أَهْلَ بَدْرٍ كَانُوا ثَلَاثَ مِائَةٍ وَثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلًا وَكَانَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ سِتَّةً وَسَبْعِينَ وَكَانَ هَزِيمَةُ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ لِسَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ مَضَيْنَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ

English Translation
Nasr ibn Bab narrated to us, from al-Hajjaj, from al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما), who said: The people of Badr numbered three hundred and thirteen men, of whom the Muhajirun were seventy-six. The defeat of the people (of Quraysh) at Badr took place on the seventeenth, a Friday, in the month of Ramadan.
