English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard a man repeatedly reciting 'Say: He is Allah, the One' (Surah al-Ikhlas). The next morning he went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned it, as though the man considered it too little. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, it is indeed equal to one-third of the Quran.'
