وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَفَّنَ ابْنَهُ وَاقِدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَمَاتَ بِالْجُ

حْفَةِ مُحْرِمًا وَخَمَّرَ رَأْسَهُ وَوَجْهَهُ وَقَالَ لَوْلاَ أَنَّا حُرُمٌ لَطَيَّبْنَاهُ . قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَإِنَّمَا يَعْمَلُ الرَّجُلُ مَا دَامَ حَيًّا فَإِذَا مَاتَ فَقَدِ انْقَضَى الْعَمَلُ .
