أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ح

َبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيَّاجِ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ رضى الله عنه : أَلاَ أَبْعَثُكَ عَلَى مَا بَعَثَنِي عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ تَدَعَنَّ قَبْرًا مُشْرِفًا إِلاَّ سَوَّيْتَهُ، وَلاَ صُورَةً فِي بَيْتٍ إِلاَّ طَمَسْتَهَا .

English Translation

Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "Shall I not send you on the same mission as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me? Do not leave any raised grave without leveling it, or any image in a house without erasing it
