The Book of Divorce

أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا
هِشَامٌ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَحِدُّ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثٍ إِلاَّ عَلَى زَوْجٍ فَإِنَّهَا تَحِدُّ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا وَلاَ تَلْبَسُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا وَلاَ ثَوْبَ عَصْبٍ وَلاَ تَكْتَحِلُ وَلاَ تَمْتَشِطُ وَلاَ تَمَسُّ طِيبًا إِلاَّ عِنْدَ طُهْرِهَا حِينَ تَطْهُرُ نُبَذًا مِنْ قُسْطٍ وَأَظْفَارٍ " .

English Translation
Umm 'Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No woman should mourn for anyone who dies for more than three days, except for a husband, for whom she should mourn for four months and ten days. She should not wear garments that are dyed or patterned, or put on kohl or comb her hair, and she should not put on any perfume except when purifying herself after her period, when she may use a little of Qust or Azfar
