أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ ع

َبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ وَثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ رُبُعُ دِينَارٍ " .

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The hand of the thief is to be cut off for the price of a shield, and the price of a shield is one-quarter of a Dinar
