أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي شَيْخٍ، أَنَّهُ سَ
مِعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَعِنْدَهُ، جَمْعٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسِ الذَّهَبِ إِلاَّ مُقَطَّعًا قَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ .

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Shaikh (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard Mu'awiyah say,:When a group of the Companions of Muhammad [SAW] were with him: "Do you know that the Prophet ﷺ of Allah [SAW] forbade wearing gold unless it was broken (into smaller pieces)?" They said: "By Allah, yes
