'Aishah (ra) reported that the Prophet ﷺ's speech was so clear that all who listened could count his words. This hadith highlights another dimension of the Prophet's ﷺ communication: not only did he repeat important things three times (previous hadith), but his speech was measured, deliberate, and clear — not rapid or jumbled. Ibn Hajar notes in Fath al-Bari that this was a specific blessing Allah gave the Prophet ﷺ — perfect clarity of speech. Ibn Uthaymin connects this to the Quran's description of the Prophet ﷺ as one who speaks 'only what is revealed' (53:3-4) and to the concept that the Prophet ﷺ was given 'jawami al-kalim' (comprehensive yet concise speech). The practical lesson for Muslims is to speak clearly, deliberately, and without rushing when communicating important matters. Slowing down and articulating words clearly is not a weakness but a mark of good communication.
