باب ما جاء في ذكر خاتم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ، فَكَانَ يَخْتِمُ بِهِ وَلا يَلْبَسُهُ‏.‏

English Translation

Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "the Prophet ﷺ (Allah bless him and give him peace) chose a signet ring of silver, so he used to seal with it, and he would not wear it.”
