باب ما جاء في قدح رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الأَسْوَدِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، قَدَحَ خَشَبٍ، غَلِيظًا، مُضَبَّبًا بِحَدِيدٍ، فَقَالَ‏:‏ يَا ثَابِتُ، هَذَا قَدَحُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏

English Translation

Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that “Anas ibn Malik brought out to us a wooden drinking vessel, roughly clamped with iron, then he said: ‘O Ihabit, this is the drinking vessel of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace)'!”
