Hadith #25
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلاَّلُ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ
اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تُسَافِرُ امْرَأَةٌ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ إِلاَّ وَمَعَهَا ذُو مَحْرَمٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

English Translation
Abu Hurairah narrated that The Messenger of Allah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that “A woman is not to travel the distance of a day and a night unless she is accompanied by someone who is a Mahram.”
