This entry represents narrations transmitted jointly or in parallel by two of the most prominent companion narrators: Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, the single most prolific narrator of hadith with over 5,000 narrations, and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, one of the most active Ansari narrators with over 1,170 narrations. Abu Hurairah devoted himself entirely to the Prophet's company from 7 AH onward, sacrificing comfort and worldly pursuits to preserve his teachings. Abu Sa'id al-Khudri participated in twelve military campaigns and was particularly active in transmitting hadiths on worship, ethics, and eschatology. When a narration is attributed to both companions, it indicates either a shared experience or a parallel transmission of the same prophetic statement, which strengthens the report's authenticity. Together, these two companions represent an immense breadth of prophetic knowledge spanning virtually every domain of Islamic practice, and their combined narrations are among the most heavily cited in all of classical Islamic scholarship.
