البراء بن عازب
al-Bara' ibn Azib ibn al-Harith al-Ansari al-Khazraji (died approximately 71 AH) was a companion of the Prophet ﷺ who participated in many battles and narrated a significant number of hadiths. He is a primary narrator of key hadiths including those on the Night Journey (Isra'), the questioning of the grave, and the description of the Prophet ﷺ. He was an Ansari from Madinah and was initially too young for Badr but participated in subsequent battles. He died in Kufa. His hadiths appear in all major collections.
