Imam al-Bukhari

Abu Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the greatest hadith scholar in Islamic history. Born in Bukhara, he traveled extensively to collect hadiths, meeting over 1,000 hadith teachers. His Sahih al-Bukhari is considered by Sunni Muslims as the most authentic book after the Quran, containing approximately 7,275 hadiths selected from over 600,000 he evaluated.
