أبو الحسين القدوري
Imam
Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Quduri (362–428 AH / 972–1037 CE) was the foremost Hanafi scholar of Baghdad in his generation and was known as Shaykh al-Madhab (Chief of the School). His al-Mukhtasar (Compendium), known as Mukhtasar al-Quduri, is a concise but comprehensive introduction to Hanafi fiqh that became the most widely memorized Hanafi primer in Islamic history. It covers the basics of Islamic practice from ritual purity to commercial transactions in clear, accessible language. It remains in active use in traditional Islamic schools (madrasas) across South Asia, Central Asia, and among Hanafi Muslims worldwide.
