Al-Sa'ib ibn Yazid al-Kindi (RA) was a companion of the Prophet ﷺ who, by his own account, was brought before the Prophet ﷺ as a child of seven years during the Farewell Pilgrimage, and the Prophet ﷺ passed his hand over his head in blessing. He participated in the Hajj al-Wada' as a young child, making him one of the few companions who could claim direct personal contact with the Prophet ﷺ from the very earliest age. He served in the administration during the caliphates of Umar (RA) and Uthman (RA). He narrated hadiths about the Prophet's physical appearance, his conduct in prayer, and accounts from the early community. He was reportedly one of the last surviving companions in Medina and lived to approximately 91 AH — dying around 91 or 92 AH.
