فاطمة بنت المنذر
Fatimah bint al-Mundhir ibn al-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam was a leading female scholar of the Tabi'in generation. She was the granddaughter of Asma' bint Abi Bakr and married her cousin Hisham ibn 'Urwah (the hadith scholar and son of 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr). She transmitted hadith from her grandmother Asma', from Hisham, and from other Companions and Tabi'in. She is cited as a narrator in major hadith collections and is praised for her piety, learning, and reliability as a narrator.
