ابن مفلح المقدسي
Imam
Muhammad ibn Muflih al-Maqdisi (708–763 AH / 1318–1362 CE) was a distinguished Hanbali scholar of Damascus and one of the most important students of Ibn Taymiyya and Ibn al-Qayyim. Ibn Taymiyya reportedly said of him: 'There is not under the dome of heaven a greater scholar of fiqh than Ibn Muflih.' His al-Furu' (The Branches) is one of the most comprehensive Hanbali fiqh references, covering all areas of Islamic law with detailed analysis. His al-Adab al-Shar'iyya (Shariah Etiquettes) is a three-volume work on Islamic manners and etiquette in all aspects of life, drawing on Quran, hadith, and scholarly traditions.
