Muzaffar Iqbal

Muzaffar Iqbal (born 1954) is a Pakistani-Canadian Islamic scholar, scientist, and author holding a PhD in chemistry. He is the founder and president of the Center for Islam and Science in Alberta, Canada, and the founding editor of Islam and Science, a peer-reviewed academic journal. He has authored and edited numerous works on Islam and science including Islam and Science, The Making of Islamic Science, and Science and Islam, arguing for an integrated understanding of Islamic epistemology and the natural sciences. He has also worked on Quranic studies and translation projects.
