Saalih ibn Ghaanim al-Sadlaan

Saalih ibn Ghaanim al-Sadlaan is a contemporary Saudi Islamic scholar and professor of Islamic jurisprudence at Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University (Imam University) in Riyadh. He is a Hanbali faqih who has authored numerous works on fiqh, Islamic law, and related sciences, making classical legal rulings accessible to contemporary audiences. His book Fiqh Made Easy (al-Fiqh al-Muyassar) is a widely used introductory manual to Islamic jurisprudence that covers the four madhabs' positions on key issues of worship and daily life.
