أبو الحسن صفي الرحمن بن عبد الله المباركفوري
Abu al-Hasan Safiur Rahman ibn Abdullah al-Mubarakpuri (1942-2006 CE) was an Indian Islamic scholar born in Mubarakpur, Uttar Pradesh. He studied at Darul Ulum Deoband. He is best known for his biography of the Prophet, Ar-Raheeq al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar), which won the top prize in the biography competition organized by the World Muslim League (Rabitat al-Alam al-Islami) in 1979. Acclaimed by scholars globally, it has been translated into dozens of languages and remains one of the most widely read and recommended seerah texts. He also wrote Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi, a multi-volume commentary on Jami al-Tirmidhi.
