سالم بن عبد الله بن عمر
Salim ibn Abdallah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (40–106 AH) was one of the Seven Fuqaha' (jurists) of Madinah and the son of the companion Abdullah ibn Umar. He was the most authentic transmitter of his father's hadiths and is described by scholars as one of the most trustworthy narrators of his generation. He was renowned for his piety, refusal of worldly offices, and literal adherence to his father's practice. al-Zuhri said: 'The fuqaha' of Madinah in my time were four: Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, and Salim ibn Abdallah.'
