Umm Kulthum bint Ali

Umm Kulthum bint Ali ibn Abi Talib (9–61 AH) was the granddaughter of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the daughter of Ali ibn Abi Talib and Fatimah al-Zahra. She was present alongside her brother Husayn and sister Zaynab at Karbala. Like her sister Zaynab, she was taken captive following the tragedy of Karbala and is remembered as a witness to those events. She is among the Ahl al-Bayt revered by Muslims.
