'Urwa bin Az-Zubair

Urwa ibn al-Zubayr — this entry 'Urwa bin Az-Zubair' is an alternate transliteration of the same Tabi'i scholar whose full biography appears under entry 18. He was the son of the companion al-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (RA), the nephew of Aisha (RA), and one of the Seven Jurists of Medina. He was the primary transmitter of Aisha's narrations to the next generation and a cornerstone scholar of the Medinan tradition. His students included al-Zuhri and Hisham ibn Urwa. He passed away around 93–94 AH.
