ياسر بن عامر
Yasir ibn Amir al-Ansi al-Madhhiji (d. c. 615 CE) was an early companion of the Prophet Muhammad from Yemen who had come to Makkah searching for a lost brother. He embraced Islam early and married Sumayyah bint Khayyat. Together they and their son Ammar faced severe torture at the hands of the Makkans, particularly Abu Jahl. Yasir died from the torture before the early Muslims emigrated to Abyssinia or Madinah. He is honored as one of the earliest male martyrs of Islam and is remembered together with his wife Sumayyah as the 'family of Yasir' (Al Yasir), whose patience was praised by the Prophet.
