Yazid ibn Abi Habib

Yazid ibn Abi Habib al-Azdi was the foremost hadith scholar of Egypt in the Tabi'een generation. He transmitted from many companions and major Tabi'een and was the teacher of the next generation of Egyptian scholars including al-Layth ibn Sa'd. He was appointed as an Islamic judge in Egypt.
