The most celebrated commentary on the Tahawiyyah creed. Ibn Abi al-Izz expanded each creedal statement with extensive evidence from Quran, Sunnah, and the statements of the Salaf, while refuting deviant theological positions. The commentary is heavily influenced by the methodology of Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim, and is one of the most widely taught aqeedah texts in Islamic universities today.
