أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ حَزِينٌ، وَقَدْ تَخَضَّبَ بِالدَّمِ مِنْ فِعْلِ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، فَقَالَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ : يَا رَسُول
َ اللَّهِ، هَلْ تُحِبُّ أَنْ أُرِيَكَ آيَةً؟، قَالَ :" نَعَمْ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى شَجَرَةٍ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ "، فَقَالَ : ادْعُ بِهَا، فَدَعَا بِهَا، فَجَاءَتْ وَقَامَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَقَالَ : مُرْهَا فَلْتَرْجِعْ، فَأَمَرَهَا فَرَجَعَتْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حَسْبِي حَسْبِي "
English Translation
It was narrated from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'Gabriel came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was sitting sad, his face stained with blood — for the polytheists had wounded him. Gabriel said: What is the matter with you? He said: These people did this to me. Gabriel said: Would you like me to show you a sign? He said: Yes. Gabriel looked to a tree at the far end of the valley and said: Call it. He called it and it came until it stood before him. Gabriel said: Tell it to return. He told it and it returned to its place. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: That is enough for me.'
