أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ ا

لْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ ، قَالَ :" وَقْتُ النُّفَسَاءِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا، فَإِنْ طَهُرَتْ، وَإِلَّا فَلَا تُجَاوِزْهُ حَتَّى تُصَلِّيَ "

English Translation
It was reported from Uthman ibn Abi al-As that he said: 'The duration of nifas (post-natal bleeding) is forty days; if she becomes pure [before that], so be it; otherwise she should not exceed it before resuming prayer.'
