أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُو

لَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَالْعِمَامَةِ "، قِيلَ لِأَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ : تَأْخُذُ بِهِ؟، قَالَ : إِي وَاللَّهِ

English Translation

It was narrated from the father of Umayya al-Damri (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding wiping over leather socks. When he was asked about it, he said: 'Yes, by Allah,' affirming that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiped over his leather socks.
