English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiped over his leather socks. Ibn Abbas was asked: 'Did he wipe over them as well?' He said: 'Yes, and the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wipe over their socks, and they are more deserving of being followed.'
