Hadith #80
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، قَالَا :
حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ : جَاءَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَعُودُنِي وَأَنَا مَرِيضٌ، لَا أَعْقِلُ، فَتَوَضَّأَ وَصَبَّ مِنْ وَضُوئِهِ عَلَيَّ، فَعَقَلْتُ "
English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ came to visit him when he was ill. He said: 'The Prophet ﷺ came and found me unconscious. He performed ablution and then poured the remaining water of his ablution over me, and I regained consciousness.'
