Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاق بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ نَصْرِ بْنِ دَهْرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ رَج
َمَهُ، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ : يَعْنِي مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، فلَمَّا وَجَدَ مَسَّ الْحِجَارَةِ، جَزِعَ جَزَعًا شَدِيدًا، قَالَ : فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" فَهَلَّا تَرَكْتُمُوهُ؟ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Nahr ibn Dahr al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man came and confessed to adultery. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from him. He confessed again on the second side, and he turned away from him. He confessed again on the third side, and he turned away from him. When he confessed a fourth time, the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to be stoned and he was stoned.'
