أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْن

ِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ أُخْتَ عُقْبَةَ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَمْشِيَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنْ نَذْرِ أُخْتِكَ، لِتَرْكَبْ وَلْتُهْدِ هَدْيًا "

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the sister of Uqbah vowed to walk to the House (Kabah). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah is indeed in no need of your sister's vow. Let her ride and offer a sacrifice.'
